Tonight Ryan and I enjoyed a few and far between date night. Date nights don't come quite as often as they used too. Finding babysitters is a pain and paying them ends up costing more than our actual date. So needless to say they don't happen as often as they should.
Luckily, we were able to coax Grandpa Oborn into tending our kids while we enjoyed a nice dinner at Maddox. We've had a gift certificate there since Christmas, but have been unable to find a time to go enjoy our free meal. Anyway, I enjoyed the fried chicken and Ryan chose the Halibut special. Both were delicious. Ryan was even able to talk our waitress into a nice piece of raspberry creme pie for dessert instead of the ice cream that came with his meal. We brought it home and enjoyed it together after the kids went to bed. All in all it was a nice couple hours away by ourselves. I just want to say thanks to Grandpa Oborn for watching the kids and thanks to Kay for paying for our dinner. We appreciate your love and generosity.
