Today is Dylan's 2nd birthday and I just can't believe how fast times flies. It seems just like yesterday that we were at the hospital trying to come to grips with the fact that we had just had our third child in three years. Also, that he was very sick and lying in an incubator in the NICU with all sorts of tubes, IV's and monitors hooked up to him. At the time, it seemed as if he would never get better even though the doctors reassured us he would.
However, today as I look at him it's hard to imagine that it was him that was so ill when he first entered this world. He is so big, for the most part healthy and such a happy, loving child. He has the cutest personality and is so friendly. He loves to say hi and bye to everyone he sees. He gives the best hugs, has the cutest little smile, and from what the teachers in nursery tell us he is quite the little flirt. He definately has all of us wrapped around his little finger. He does not accept that he is any younger than the other kids and is determined to prove it. He is and always has been 
right at Hannah and G's side playing and doing whatever it is they are doing. He loves to play Wii, play house, play animals, play cars and play outside. He is getting really good at saying prayers and is also trying to learn his Articles of Faith with the other kids. He loves to read and has to go to bed with a book each night. He loves watching Dora, Mickey Mouse and Handy Manny. He is so sweet about saying thank you for everything and sorry when he does something he knows he shouldn't. He is becoming very independent and loves doing things all by himself, but he also loves to help. He is constantly helping me make meals and always wants to help me go get stuff I'm looking for. He is just a fun little kid.

By the way, for his birthday we took him bowling and had pizza for dinner last night. HE LOVED IT!! Every time he would knock down any pins he would jump up and down and shout "Yes, yes, yes!" It was adorable. We tried to get it on 
camera, but of course every time we had it turned on he wouldn't do it. (did I mention he can also be a little stinker :)) Then tonight we had the grandparents over for a birthday dinner and some cake and ice cream. It was lots of fun. Here are a few pictures we took of the events.

We love little Huff (or as Tage would call him "G's baby") he can come play at our house anytime.
